Meet Jazzmin Ballou
Jazzmin (she/they) is a multi-ethnic healer, one in a lineage of many Indigenous healers in diaspora. Jazz approaches healing as a divine right already contained within one’s person.
To heal is not to seek out a healer, it is to acknowledge the healer in oneself and welcome in support and guidance from intentional community along the way. Along this path we carry the unhealed wounds of those who’ve come before us, which is why Jazz’s healing modalities are rooted in re-membering and ancestral connection.
Our lineages are diverse and expansive and our ancestors are waiting for us to acknowledge their wisdom as a means of aiding our healing, which is why, no matter what your lineage is, Jazzmin will walk with you along the path of remembering and reconnecting.

Personal Intentions
Having spent years in organizing spaces where rest and receiving is not always prioritized, I aim for this to be a space where we can center those very things, knowing that they further our commitment to and capacity for resisting the systems which keep us exhausted and running on fumes.
My spiritual path is rooted in an anti-colonial praxis as well as a personal practice of re-indigenization, a path which I hope to continue on in community and with the humble guidance of like minded individuals who I hope will be drawn to Radical Wellness Collective.
Intentions for the Collective
My goal is for this collective to be a space for healers to land and support one another on our paths of centering decolonial modes of healing and ways of viewing healing. Knowing that everyone has their own gifts that contribute to the healing of themselves and others, all are welcome here, whether you consider yourself a healer or not.
As we continue to build this collective digitally we plan to offer free readings, meditations, and classes to anyone and everyone who feels called to them. Simultaneously, we are working towards a brick and mortar space in the North East Bay (Vallejo, specifically), where we can offer in person classes such as yoga and dance, and other healing services such as acupuncture, energy healing, massage therapy, etc.

Land Acknowledgement
We want to acknowledge that so-called Vallejo is the traditional land of the Indigenous People past and present. For thousands of years, this land has been the home of Muwekma, Karkin, Patwin, and Miwok people.
The Indigenous people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. We are honored and grateful to be here today on their traditional lands.
